No plans this weekend as far as I know. I asked Dennis what was going on this weekend and he said, "Don't know yet.". Not sure what that means, but I guess it means he doesn't know!

Hey all, Megan Danielle Bloom was born at 1:12 AM this morning weighing in at 7 pounds 12 ounces and 19.5 inches in length. She is absolutely perfect and has a full head of dark brown hair. She's doing great and I am feeling really really good considering. I have attached a picture of her for you to enjoy. :o)Mike, the kids, and I are very happy and truly blessed to have such a precious addition to our family. Love to all, Cindy

At least, that's what my phone told me so unless my phone is a liar Cindy had her little baby girl! I got a text message around midnight saying that she was at the hospital, then another one around 3:00am saying the baby is here! And that's all I know. I'm assuming it's a girl, but she never said! Oh well, maybe Kimberly knows more.

I don't have much time this morning since I'm still working on a stack of stuff from last week, but I thought I would post some pictures my sister emailed me of her backyard:

Here's the inside. It's hard to guage how big the pool is going to be. I know it's a lot bigger than the old one though.
Still a lot of work to be done! The tile guys were supposed to be there yesterday to tile it up I guess. I don't know how it all works, all I know is that it'll be working and operational when I go to visit in early September!
It was a very busy weekend, which is nice because I hate boring ones.
It started out on Friday afternoon with Dennis picking me up from work. We were going to go down to Blue Island to the studio, but we wound up not doing that since we knew we had to go on Sunday so we just went out to lunch and hung out instead. We did go Friday night to Chicago City Limits to see some friends play in their band.
Saturday was the WW newb pool party, which was a great time! I did good and didn't drink myself unconcious but left early since we had to be up at the crack of dawn on Sunday to go to Blue Island. And we spent all fucking day there on Sunday and didn't get home last night until right around 10:00pm. And then a friend stopped by who wanted to hear the new songs and didn't leave until aroud 11:00 so I'm freaking exhausted today! And probably not making much sense!
But, I do have pictures from Saturday that I have not loaded into my computer yet so you'll just have to be patient...
Wow, Monday again!! And I haven't blogged since last Monday.
Last week was a week from hell. My server crashed and I had to order a new one. Unfortunately, it's next to impossible to find a server that has the operating system I want on it already loaded. And I had to find it already loaded since it takes two weeks to get the operating system from Microsoft (we're using Windows 2000 Professional, which isn't supported anymore so no server purchased today can run it - you have to get Windows 2003 or Windows 2008 and it takes forever and is expensive as all hell). Of course, I didn't realize this until after we got a new server and I went to load the OS on it. Then it's like - guess what? You're fucked!!!
So, I eventually got a server from Dell, however it'll take at least two weeks to get here. Great. What do we do in the meantime? Find an old computer that still has EIDE drives on it that will load Windows 2000. And I found one - my boss wife's home computer. The thing is slower than shit, but it's fine for what we're using it for. And she gets a bonus of a new computer! So, we have a crutch until the new server eventually makes it's way here.
Mojo Cannon's album is really coming out great! They're in the mix down stage now, so it shouldn't be too much longer.
They are playing this Friday night at Chicago City Limits in Schaumburg with 3 other bands. Which is nice because we don't have to stay until 2:00am when everybody else is done! I believe they are playing second so that might make them play around, hmmmmm, 10 or 11pm? Then they play a huge outdoor party in Spring Grove on the 4th. Which will be a lot of fun! It's on the property where Spring Grove does their fireworks. The guy who owns the property also owns the antique store where the guys rehearse. Lots of food, lots of booze, lots of FUN! So, if you're in this area you are cordially invited to the bash of the season.
I had a pretty boring weekend. I wound up grabbing a stack of about 300 cd roms that have been gathering dust in my closet in an effort to get rid of them but not before tranferring the stuff I really want to keep to my new Western Digital My Book 500 gigabyte external hard drive.
So, Saturday as I'm tediously sick and going through these cd's, I stumble across some old pictures of myself that really made me laugh. And, they'll no doubt make you all laugh too since some are pretty ridiculous.

And that's how I spent my weekend. We did wind up going out for a little bit on Saturday night which was good since I needed desperately to get out of the house. Then yesterday we went to see a friend play in a pool tournament for a while then came home and watched a really stupid stupid movie - Meet the Spartans. I wouldn't recommend it.
I'm so happy the work week is over, but extremely bummed about the weekend plans. This is the weekend of the Bears fan expo. That I'm not going to be able to go to now. Because I'm sick. Which totally sucks. But what would suck the most is if I got Cindy Lu sick when she's 8 months pregnant! I would just never be able to forgive myself if something bad were to happen. Shit. I hate this!
Doctor called last night and confirmed that I have strep after the tests he gave me yesterday morning. And I still feel really nasty.
So, now, the weekend plans are up in the air. I'll probably spend it doing nothing, as usual.

I feel like shit - I have a bug or something. My throat, head, body, even my toes hurt today. I just feel yucky! But, I'm at work so that's something, right?
I guess I have to stay at work since I have a hair appointment this evening at 5:00pm. One that keeps getting postponed and if I cancel God knows when I'll be able to get another appointment. So, I have to tough it out for the rest of day.
I couldn't blog yesterday. I tried loading blogger.com but the fucking thing wouldn't load. Oh well. That's the way life is on the internet.
